Pride Glasgow working in partnership with Equator Digital Marketing Agency is looking for creative sparks, digital wizards and those with an eye for design to enter to Pride Glasgow 2016 Branding Competition to design branding and imagery for their social media channels and print for their 2016 event being held at Glasgow Green on 20th and 21st August 2016.

The competition is open to anyone 18 years old and over in the Glasgow and surrounding areas (G, KA, ML and PA postcodes) and no branding or graphic design experience or education is required to enter.

Entries will be shortlisted to a final three and will be invited to pitch to the invited expert judging panel who are volunteering their time to support the competition, Alastair Smith, Chief Executive of Pride Glasgow; Julie Campbell, Advertising & Sponsorship Co-ordinator; Patrick Bjorkman, Creative Director of Equator digital marketing agency: Marc Cairns, Consultant for the Arts & Creative Industries.

Once the judging panel has shortlisted the entries to the final three, the three finalists will be invited to pitch their entry to the judging panel and the winner will be announced on 20th March 2016.

The winning entry will receive:

2 VIP tickets for Pride Glasgow 2016

An unpaid internship with award winning Equator digital marketing agency in Glasgow

An iPad mini

Four mentoring sessions between April and August 2016 with Marc Cairns

The three finalists can also have their portfolio critiqued (if desired).

All runners up will also receive 2 VIP tickets to the Pride Glasgow Festival 2016.

Entries are to be submitted to Branding@pride.scot and must be received by 11th March 2016. Shortlist finalists will be contacted by Pride Glasgow directly.
