About Pride Glasgow
Pride Glasgow is Scotland's largest celebration of LGBTI equality. Established in 2004 as Pride Scotia (Glasgow) we became a charity in 2012 and with the event being run annually from this time. In 2015 we established the Pride Life Programme aimed at engaging volunteers all year and in 2016 The Pride Community Project was established which will manage the Pride Fund and support, develop and engage the LGBTI community in Scotland Pride Glasgow employs a small team who are responsible for the delivery of the Pride Weekend, Pride Life Project and our Pride Community Project. The Staff team is made up of 3 part time members Chief Executive, Deputy CEO/Festival Director and Pride Life Coordinator. Our Pride Ambassadors (Volunteers) assist all year round helping to support the organisation and the event. Currently our core team of year round volunteers manage sponsorship, community expo and pride market bookings and partnership development. During the Pride Weekend the Pride Glasgow staff team work with the Pride Ambassadors and specialist event staff in running the festival.
